General Provisions

These terms and conditions outline the rules and regulations for the use of the website www.seedstm.com (“The site”) owned by SEEd srl, with registered office in Via Magenta, 35 – 10128 Turin (Italy), VAT number 08077480013, registered in the Business Register of the Turin Chamber of Commerce with no. 944754, tel. +39.011.566.02.58, email info@seedstm.com.

SEEd is also the owner of the corresponding domain name (www.seedstm.com).

By accessing this website we assume you accept these terms and conditions in full. Do not continue to use SEEd Srl’s website if you do not accept all of the terms and conditions stated on this page.

We also reserve the right to change these terms and conditions and its linking policy at any time. By continuing to connect to our website, you agree to be bound by and comply with these terms and conditions of connection.

All terms refer to the offer, acceptance and consideration of payment necessary to undertake the process of our assistance to the Client in the most appropriate manner, for the express purpose of meeting the Client’s needs in respect of provision of the Company’s stated services/products, in accordance with and subject to, prevailing law of Italy.

The following terminology applies to these Terms and Conditions: “Client”, “You” and “Your” refers to you, the person accessing this website and accepting the Company’s terms and conditions. “The Company”, “Ourselves”, “We”, “Our” and “Us”, refers to our Company. “Party”, “Parties”, or “Us”, refers to both the Client and ourselves, or either the Client or ourselves.

Use of the site and Disclaimer of liability

The site is aimed at giving visibility to the SEEd products and services. SEEd Srl declines all responsibility arising from improper use of the information published on this site. This information should not be used or interpreted as a diagnostic and / or therapeutic aid and should not be construed as a substitute for a doctor’s consultation. The information and products presented on the site may not be available in the user’s country.

Whilst we endeavour to ensure that the information on this website is correct, we do not warrant its completeness or accuracy; nor do we commit to ensuring that the website remains available or that the material on the website is kept up to date.

SEEd cannot be held responsible for damages of any kind arising from the use of the site or the impossibility of accessing the site (for example due to data loss or interruption of activity).

SEEd reserves the right to modify the contents of the site, the products and services presented and their price at any time and without obligation of communication.

2. Standard Terms and Conditions of Sales

General Provisions

These terms and conditions govern the sale of products through the site www.seedstm.com (“The site”) by SEEd srl, with registered office in Via Magenta, 35 – 10128 Turin (Italy), VAT number 08077480013, registered in the Business Register of the Turin Chamber of Commerce with no. 944754, tel. +39.011.566.02.58, email info@seedstm.com.

The site is owned by SEEd, which is also the owner of the corresponding domain name (www.seedstm.com ). The site is aimed at giving visibility to the SEEd products and services.

The offer and sale of SEEd products through the site are carried out in compliance with current Italian regulations, and in particular to Legislative Decree 6 September 2005, n. 206 (“Consumer Code”) and Legislative Decree 9 April 2003, n. 70, which regulates e-commerce.

SEEd reserves the right to change the general conditions of sale at any time: for the execution of the purchase order, the general sales conditions in force at the date of purchase will apply.

Online shopping

Only adults can buy online at the site. The use of the site by the user will be understood as a declaration attesting to the age of the user. The user guarantees the truthfulness and completeness of the data provided for accessing and using the site.

SEEd catalog includes both printed books and ebooks: on SEEd website it is possible to purchase books in paper format, while the purchase of ebooks is made through external platforms (eg Streetlib, Amazon).

Paper books are shipped only only in the countries listed in table A. Before proceeding with the purchase, you must check that your country is present in table A: otherwise, it will not be possible to process the order and to ship the books.

The purchase on SEEd website can be done with or without registration of a personal user account. If you decide not to register a personal account, you can still make the purchase but you will not have access to some services reserved for registered users, such as saving delivery data, access to information on orders and returns, check of the order status.

To purchase a product through the site you must select the single item, click on “Add to Cart” and follow the guided procedure to enter the data needed for delivery and payment.

Once we have received the purchase order, SEEd will send you an email confirming the order containing the summary of the products purchased, the shipping and payment methods and the link to the site for consultation of the General Conditions of Sale, including the right of withdrawal, as explained below.

If the purchased product is temporarily unavailable, SEEd will notify you immediately by email to communicate possible alternative solutions:

  • immediate termination of the contract (cancellation of purchase and compensation for damages); or
  • confirmation of the order with a new delivery time, if the product can be available again in reasonable time; or
  • replacement of the product purchased with another available from the SEEd catalog, of equivalent value, if the product cannot be available again in reasonable time.

For the purchase of books, no invoice is issued as the VAT is paid by the publisher, in accordance with article 74 D.P.R. 633/1972. All book prices are expressed in euros and include VAT.

Payment methods

Purchases on the Site can be made with payment via the PayPal platform. Users who do not have a PayPal account will be able to use their credit card on the PayPal platform. The data of the credit card and the PayPal account are managed in a secure manner on an encrypted PayPal server. No credit card or PayPal account data is recorded by SEEd.

Shipping and delivery

The shipment of printed books is carried out in the countries shown in table A (see above). Delivery is by courier. For purchases of books in Italy the cost of shipping is € 5.50 charged to the user. For purchases only in Italy, with a total amount exceeding € 50, shipping is free. For other countries, the amount of delivery charges is specified during the purchase process and in the order summary sent by email to the buyer.

Right of withdrawal

We accept the return of any book within 14 days from the delivery date, provided it is in perfect condition. To make the return you must inform SEEd and arrange the shipment before the expiry of the withdrawal period (14 days from the date of delivery). The product to be returned must be appropriately packed and sent to the following address: SEEd srl – Via Magenta, 35 – 10128 Turin (Italy). To complete the return correctly, you must attach the original purchase order and a return declaration specifying the intention to withdraw from the purchase, the number and date of the purchase order and the delivery date.

The shipping costs for the return are charged to the consumer. If the return is due to sending a damaged product or shipping error, we will also refund the postage costs of the return.

If you decide to terminate the contract (cancellation of the purchase), SEEd will proceed with the total reimbursement of the amount paid by the user, including delivery costs.

Jurisdiction

These terms and conditions are understood to be in compliance with Italian law. The Court of Turin is competent for any controversy.
